On Friday, July 24th Wendy & Russell Hackney served Pimms and cucumber sandwiches.
As dusk fell, the Gallery became a cathedral of light, each flame held in one of Russell’s perfect porcelain lanterns.

It is surprising how many Vancouverites are strangers to Bowen Island. Last week Marji Stevens, a Bowen virgin, took in the delights of Steamship Days to the sounds of RazzMaJazz. Marji has travelled the world, teaching in Japan, chatting with elephants in Africa but this magical place had escaped her notice, until now. Marji was shown around the island by Dave.
